Meg Tawes is an interior designer, home staging expert, and Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She worked previously as the Design Coordinator for HGTV’s hit real estate and staging show ‘Real Estate Intervention’ and has contributed to FoxNews.com, the Washington Post, and eHow.com. Meg recently completed her Masters of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design at George Washington University in Washington, DC and holds an undergraduate business degree from Georgetown University. As a LEED Accredited Professional and real estate enthusiast, she is passionate about ‘green’ building techniques and the growing trends of New Urbanism and Transit Oriented Development. When not scouting the latest in interiors or real estate, she enjoys DIY and crafting projects, rummaging through thrift stores for deals, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., Michael Ayala is an attorney and television professional with over 15 years experience as a reporter, producer and on air talent. Michael spent 9 years with the Courtroom Television Network as a producer, reporter and anchor where he traveled the country covering trials and legal news for a national audience. Michael also served as morning and afternoon anchor for CBS2 in Chicago and Sports Anchor for WUSA in Washington, DC. He currently heads up MIA Media Group, specializing in communications solutions and web based initiatives. He has produced numerous online series and worked closely with marketing and public relations professionals to increase the efficacy of both internal and external online and broadcast communications. In his spare time Michael enjoys teaching production skills to at risk teens through the not – for – profit Multi Media Training Institute and martial arts. Michael also freelances throughout the Washington DC metro area.
